Scrappy Group "A"

This quilt was the first quilt created from the original Block "A" group in 2002. Each block was put together scrappy and then sashed together with a wide muslin and then 9 patch setting squares separated the blocks. The checkerboard border was easy to accomplish using the new Cross Cut 4 patch tool. We also used the Cross Cut 9 patch tool for the setting squares. This quilt was completed with a wide floral print border. It is amazing how big a quilt can get with 8 inch blocks.
