Machine quilting is a great way to finish your quilt tops. Your own sewing machine can easily be turned into a quilting machine. All you need to do is learn how to use the correct feet, threads, and tensions to create beautiful quilting designs. Kathy will take you from the beginning stages of machine setup, threads, batting, needles and feet, plus so much more. Continuous quilting designs and stippling is easy and fun to learn. She will teach you which products work the best as well as which books provide the most information.

Kathy will also have available to purchase in class, all the machine quilting supplies that she recommends from the suppply list PLUS a few extra items. So don't worry about completing your supply list and running all over the metroplex looking for a certain item.
The main thing to remember is to make sure your feed dogs can be dropped on your machine and that you have the correct feet. Kathy recommends bringing all of your feet if you are unsure.
PLUS, you will also learn easy tips and techniques for machine trapunto. This gives your quilt a lot of depth and emphasizes your quilting. You will be amazed how easy and fun it will be to quilt your own quilts.........
Class fee also includes lunch and a trunk show lecture. Choose from the menu when you sign up for class. All lunches come with drinks, dessert, chips, fruit and salad.
